About
This Blog
Using this as a creative outlet, On Slow Simmer, was created as a mash of my interestes in phototography, videography, food science, and asmr sensory elements. (Still figuring out how this works so this will be a slow attempt at a blog.)
Influenced by the magazine Toothache, I wanted a space for me to explore all the culinary aspects of cooking. To test out recipes here and there while altering it to be Allium free vegetarian.
Let’s call this a food journal/ library of everything I like to eat, because I can never find the exact recipe everytime.
Through the pandemic, I’ve been slowly enjoying cooking and nurturing my body. Transforming my relationship with food from eating to live, to living to eat.
Follow me in my journey as I cook my way through recipes I find online.
*Note to self, Photography style and documentation style needs better exploration. *Note to reader. All recipes are not created by me. It is all altered from an existing recipe. I will try to link as many links as I can.
The creation of this blog began in 2021.
